Stephanie Arne is a series host for Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom "Wild Guide" and the co-founder of the non-profit Creative Animal Foundation. Arne earned the role hosting "Wild Guide" in 2013 after submitting a video during a nationwide search contest. Since her selection, she has hosted 12 web series, spending time with cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, wolves and more to illustrate the importance of protecting wild creatures. She makes appearances on behalf of Wild Kingdom, and engages with fans of the series across many social platforms. Arne also is a public speaker on global efforts in conservation and sustainability. The goal of the new Creative Animal Foundation is to encourage and teach people how choosing daily sustainable actions can help protect the earth. Recently, Stephanie was a guest on Harry Connick Jr.'s new daytime show, "Harry!" where she discussed animal attraction and romance. She also will be featured on a new TV show, "Animal Review," on Animal Planet with comedian 'Anthony Anderson' ("Blackish"). She's been featured on an episode of the DIY Network's Tiny House, Big Living (2014) series, kicking off the 2017 tiny house tour for The Creative Animal Foundation. Her wildlife insight has earned her a seat on the International Union of Conservation Nature's (IUCN) Education and Communication Commission. In 2015, she was named one of the latest recipients of the Ambassador for the Planet Award, given by renowned environmental artist and conservationist Wyland. That honor places her in a very select group that includes renowned naturalist Jane Goodall, iconic oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, former Vice President Al Gore, marine biologist Dr. Sylvia Earle, actor Robert Redford, and professional surfer Kelly Slater. A native of South Dakota, Arne has been involved with wildlife projects in Australia, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Borneo, the Florida Keys and Hawaii. Her features include packages on working with whale sharks in Western Australia, checking on coral reefs on the Great Barrier Reef, cleaning blue penguins in New Zealand, and more. She's also raised money for Africa's Camp Ohana Foundation and the construction of the first children's library in Kenya. She has worked at leading U.S. zoological parks, such as San Diego Zoological Society, SeaWorld, the Honolulu Zoo Society, and Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium.
