Stephen Jackson

Born in Marietta, GA. Son of Charles (Doctor in Music Education) and Jane (choir instructor) Jackson. Brother to Mary (professional tattoo artist), Vince (professional tuba player), and Angela Jackson. He was the 3rd born. Played French Horn since 2000 and continued into the marching band through graduation at George Walton High School in 2006. First began working at Sylvan Learning Center in 2005 as a Teacher's Assistant, and would later work at Chuck E. Cheese in 2006 as Chuckie, Merchandise, Cashier, and Game Room Technician. In 2006 enrolled into the Entertainment Technology program at Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, GA and graduated with an Associates in 2009. In 2007 joined the Walt Disney World College Program where he was a boat pilot to the 3 boats (launch, cruiser, and the 600 passenger Ferry Boats) on Seven Seas Lagoon at the entry to Magic Kingdom and exercised the ability to improv-spiel thus creating an entertaining experience different for every trip. Between GA and FL for school he would work at MovieStop as a crew member and ultimately finished his time at Disney in 2011. In 2009 began working for extras agencies in GA starting with The Vampire Diaries where he would later become a stand-in. From 2009-2011 worked other projects on Film & TV sets such as Hall Pass, The Lost Valentine, Big Momma's: Like Father, Like Son, and so on. Was lead actor in a 48 hour film festival and picked up acting gigs for short films and music videos (all freelance). Due to inconsistent job opportunities he was forced to find another means of income and place his dreams to become and actor on hold so he went back to FL to continue working with Disney in 2011. After a year of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter being open at Universal's Island of Adventure he then transferred over to work at Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey as a Hogwarts student (attractions attendant) but was given vast flexibility to utilize talents in more improv-spieling making the guests truly believe they were in the real Hogwarts with a real wizard. Later moved on to be a Relief Lead at Flight of the Hippogriff and Ollivander's Wand Experience. Due to the lack of enough finances to live in a safe local he was forced to move back to GA in 2013 to pursue an even more stable side career in the hotel industry starting with Hyatt Place in Alpharetta, GA being front desk, bartender, cook, shuttle driver, night auditor, and convention setups. After 6 months he transferred down to the Buena Vista Palace Resort and Spa back at Walt Disney World in 2014 where he could financially support himself as well as continue seasonal work at Harry Potter. After one year at the front desk he transferred to overnight Security guard in 2015 which finally gave him the ability to make enough income to survive while opening up his daytime hours to finally continue the pursuit of his acting career.
