Fiona Kirkpatrick Parsons plays the role of Cathy, Cormack Vertue's mother, in the The Only Game In Town (2016). She considers herself a relatively late bloomer having just begun her acting career in 2012. Now officially addicted, she has had principal roles in four stage plays over three years (It's Murder In the Wings, Department of Common Sense, Calendar Girls and The Fork On The Left), three TV commercials, and now her first feature-length film. For her stage work, she received an Outstanding Supporting Actress nomination at the 2014 Liverpool International Theatre Festival for her work as Sophia Smart in The Department of Common Sense, a political satire.
