Nisey Kamai is an American actor and media personality born in Washington, DC. Nisey now resides in Atlanta, GA to assist in establishing her career. Having proved herself successful in fashion and print modeling, Nisey decided to pursue her true artistic passion: acting. Branding the Nisey Kamai name globally as an actor with success in the film and television industries is her primary objective - a goal she is well on course to accomplish. Nisey Kamai began her journey as an actor under the tutelage of legendary acting coach, Melvin Williams of Theater For A New Generation (T.F.A.N.G). She continues to hone her craft under his mentorship and through rigorous self-study. Her ethnically ambiguous appearance and skill-set allows for her to adapt to many demographic casting types. She is able to portray characters of mixed race, African-American, Hispanic, and even Asian descent. Before pursuing acting, Nisey was the lead entertainment correspondent for DMV Nation, an online media entertainment company based in Washington, DC. In this position, Nisey had the opportunity to exhibit her warm personality, stunning beauty, and improvisation skills while covering red carpet events and conducting on-screen interviews with high-profile artists and entertainers. Nisey gained most notability from her principal role as the love interest of hip-hop artist Wale in the music video of his chart-topping single "LoveHate Thing". This feature attracted an intensely loyal fan base and exponentially increased the growth of her social influence by way of blogs and social media networks. It propelled Nisey's demand to be cast in music videos by other artists, including Fabolous ("When I Feel Like It") and French Montana ("88 Coupes").
