Behzaad Khan was born into a very modest small town Indian family in Zamania, Uttar Pradesh. Even as a child, his inclination towards art was quite obvious in various ways. Back in his college days, just like an average & confused youngster Behzaad ended up as a model when he got spotted for his good looks by the Elite Model Management in Delhi. However, due to the lack of satisfaction that he felt and his inclination towards the performing arts, he soon decided to foray into acting. Following this he moved to Mumbai and in his quest to look for work he landed up assisting an FTI pass out Anand Mahendru, the maker of popular TV show 'Dekh Bhai Dekh' & the producer of 'Rangrasiya'. Under his guidance he sharpened his skills for one and a half years. He started directing plays as well as acting in them. Henceforth, a boy who had no formal background of acting was eventually teaching acting to a group of 20 new aspiring actors by conducting workshops. Later he did another popular Star Plus show 'Arjun' where he played the lead character of the ETF Chief. This show got him the much needed popularity in the television circuit. Then he kept doing various other projects on TV on & off, only for his desperation to be in front of the camera. He also appeared in a cameo role for the movie 'Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani'. It was his love and determination towards the field, that he didn't restrict himself to any particular medium of acting. Behzaad's eagerness to explore all aspects of filmmaking took him to different platforms and the artist within him could find a way of expression in the due course of his journey of 10 years from an IT Graduate to a polished artist. And the journey continues...
