Kathryn "Elise" Drexler is an Oregon-bred, Houston-raised storyteller and social advocacy enthusiast who has finally found her home in the cinematic arts. She loves goats, poetry, chocolate almond milk, and writing narratives that explore the present and historical Black American condition. Elise finds that she's happiest when blending comedy and fantasy to give rise to meaningful art that can both start necessary dialogues and make people laugh. A proud graduate of Columbia University and UCLA's Master of Fine Arts in Film Directing, it is her dream to establish a career of plurality as a director, actor, and writer in the medium of television. Most recently, she has worked as the creative assistant to Gina Prince-Bythewood and in the writers' room of an upcoming CBS/Apple TV/Imagine Studios original show called "Swagger". Currently, she works for Lucasfilm on an undisclosed Disney+ project.
