To dream is easy, what is not easy is to hold onto them and make them come true with grit and determination. Such grit and determination is uncommon and rarely comes to such a limelight that puts one on the most respected stages of the world. Theatre they say is not everyone's cup of tea; more so when you are dreaming of becoming a golden screen actor. But the story of Vivek Tiwari is the ultimate tribute to belief in oneself and its marriage with opportunity. Born in a sleepy town sized village, to family of Anil & Lakhsmi Tiwari on 18th june,1990 in Bhandara,Maharashtra,Vivek aka Vivaan was always fascinated by drama. For him everything around was a show and all you needed to do was give your best. Having a natural affinity towards acting he got his first real break in his school life. He chanced to drop in a drama practice where one of the actors was having trouble playing the character. Vivek decided to ask for a chance and that was the beginning of his love affair with acting. Soon getting acknowledgement from every-one he started being known as the most talented person in his school. Eventually he went on to win the best artist award in his school in his passing out (graduating) year. "Though it was a small award, it felt like I had won an Oscar", Vivek recalls. As we know, coming from a weak financial background shatters most if not all dream; Vivek too had to put acting on sideline for some time. But as we know today, he did not kill his dream. He cherished that fire in his heart and added fuel to it constantly. Working in , he got a chance to earn and chase his dreams on his terms. This newfound freedom gave Vivek a chance to test his mettle. He initially started re-enacting various challenging scene from different movies. At first, he had to rent a camera. The very first scene he re-enacted was a scene from the critically acclaimed movie, Haider. This was one scene which had led to wide-spread appreciation of Shahid Kapoor (the original actor) and hence it was very important that Vivek at least matches him in order to get any attention at all. Needless to say he nailed it. After a while he bought a low-cost professional camera and started shooting his videos. As luck would have it, someone suggested him to try posting his photos and videos on auditionsindia.com. It was here that opportunity came knocking for Vivek. He got a chance to audition for an ambitious project, called "The solar eclipse". Though overwhelmed by the chance itself, he knew he still had to cross another hurdle. But as we know hard luck never loses, Vivek finally got casted in the movie. He soon was to share the space with people whose name he had only seen on screen and whom he revered personally. A firm believer of God, he believe that it is indeed a very big miracle that a guy in his circumstances got a chance not in a sit-com, neither in a short-film, nor in some clichéd film but in a project that has an amazing script and is quite magnanimous. The appreciation of people is perhaps the biggest of an artist's reward. It is difficult to get, still difficult to retain and becomes your strongest strength when you start losing confidence in yourself. Vivek always found it a plenty and sustained the art in him for that alone. Today we tend to think that magic is not real and miracles do not happen. If so, how can one explain this journey from a sleepy village to silver screen? Well, it is magic indeed.
