Janis Abele

Latvian director Janis Abele has started cinema making during his Philosphy studies in university. He has experience in various positions in filmmaking process (both technical and creative) for about 5 years. Additionally he has directed some experimental movies before joining Latvian Academy of Culture which he graduated in 2014 with thesis film "Six feet above" (Augstak par zemi) which is slightly inspired by French new wave and latvian film "Elpojiet dzili".
