Louise De Groef is a young and upcoming Belgian filmmaker who just finished her Master's degree in Audiovisual Arts at the leading Belgian film school, Luca School of Arts in Brussels. Her graduation project, Wolf's Skin, stars the accomplished Flemish actor Geert Van Rampelberg and the talented cellist Amber Docters van Leeuwen, in an intimate and captivating short film about a troubled parent-child relationship. Louise's past short, It's Not About You Anymore, has been enthusiastically received at international short film competitions like Krakow Film Festival, FEST Young Directors festival in Espinho, Skepto film festival in Cagliari and World of Film International Festival in Glasgow. In It's Not About You Anymore, Louise portrays the dramatic quest of a young man to find identity and acceptance. Louise is also known for her documentary of the eccentric Belgian artist Rinus Van de Velde. Her work shows a talent for visual beauty and composition and often revolves around her own personal experiences.
