Thom Zahler is a graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art. He created the fan favorite superhero romantic comedy Love and Capes, and the critically acclaimed Long Distance romance comic. He also works on the My Little Pony comics as both a writer and an artist and he co-wrote the story "Til Death" for the Star Trek: Sky's the Limit story collection. Zahler's first televised script was "Contest of Champions, part one" for Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors.
