Alejandro Oliva González is a Mexican actor, was born on July 19, 1992 in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, México, to Dr. Roberto Jaime Oliva Cruz and María de Lourdes González Navarro. His mother is of Mexican/Palestine ancestry. Alejandro has two older siblings. He studied almost all of his young life at a Catholic School but decided to do his last two years at a more English speaking centered school. Alejandro is the first one of his family to be involved with the arts. Because there was no close knowledge in his family about what truly being an actor meant and because the city he was raised in has very few artistic platforms with very little impact his parents were afraid of him choosing to be an actor and encouraged him to study Medicine just like his dad. When he was 18 years old Alejandro moved to Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, where he studied Medicine for a brief amount of time and reaffirmed to his family that Acting was what he wanted. As a way to test if acting was the correct path for Alejandro, his parents enrolled him at the age of 19 in a vocational institute located in Mexico City called "Bussola" where he had a Cinematography class and it was taught by Academy Award winning director Alejandro González Iñárritu. When his process at "Bussola" was complete they told Alejandro and his parents that Acting was the best path for him to follow. Thanks to advice from Alejandro González Iñárritu and other tutors from the Academy Alejandro decided to stay and properly study Acting in his country at the renowned Acting School of the television and film production company Argos Comunicación, "CasAzul", when he was 20. After two years Alejandro landed a role in the successful television super series of the international television company Telemundo, "Señora Acero", where he appeared for two seasons. Alejandro continued to master his craft with Acting Courses and Master Classes, one which was imparted by Diego Luna, he also continued to do Theater and Short Films. After finishing with "Señora Acero" in 2017 he landed a role in the film "La Leyenda Del Diamante", directed by Roberto Girault. In 2018 he decided to audition for a Masters in one of the oldest and most prestigious Acting Schools in the world, London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) were he got offered a place and was the only Non-Native English speaker of his class, he graduated as a Master of Arts in Classical Acting for the Professional Theatre.
