Ming Liang

Born 1984, in Yichun, northeast China's Heilongjiang province. Enrolled at Communication University of China in 2002, majoring in performance arts in the Department of Director Performance. Cast in the movie, "Spring Fever", directed by Lou Ye (included in the Main Competition section, at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival) Assistant director in "Mystery", directed by Lou Ye (included in the Un Certain Regard section, at the 65th Cannes Film Festival) Starred in the movie "Shadow Days" (included in the Youth section, at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival) Liang directed his 1st feature film "Wisdom Tooth" won the SIFF Project award at the 15th Shanghai International Film Festival, and the BIFF Project award at the 8th Beijing International Film Festival. The project took part in the 3rd CFDG Chinese Young Director Support Program,and was listed among the top five in 2018
