Erik William Coleman-Ponte was born August 15, 1968 in Bakersfield, CA to Imogene Coleman and Joe Ponte. Erik spent his youth and early adulthood dedicated to his passion of custom vehicle paint jobs including award winning and nationally publicized graphic paint jobs in Truckin Magazine, Mini-Truckin Magazine and many more. One of Erik's most notable awards was having his work featured in Truckin Magazines Top 10 Best Paint Jobs of All Time. After an ATV accident in 2001 left his left arm paralyzed and temporarily stunted his paint career, Erik began what would become his greatest passion collecting and restoring classic Hearses. At the time of his early death on June 14th 2015, Erik owned 7 Hearses and kept them in his shop which he dubbed The Hearse Hotel. Erik also earned and coveted the nick-name Hearse Hoarder. Erik's film career began in 2006 when he recorded audio tracks as radio announcer "Dirty Ernie" in the horror short The Death Valley Meth Lab. Erik was also cast as the Hearse Driver in the 2010 film Terror 66. Erik's final film project is Hearse Hotel, a horror short in which he stars, that is slated to be featured in the remake of Terror 66 2016. Both films are being premiered on his birthday August 15th 2016 in Las Vegas.
