Joshua Zacharias was born on April 28, 1994 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He is a martial artist, writer, director, and stunt coordinator. At the age of 12, Joshua began learning wushu from coaches Ranie Laoag and Ryan Sayco under Wushu Manitoba. With an ever-growing love for martial arts, Joshua began to branch out, traveling to Texas to learn under well-known instructors; wushu master Wang Tao, Jimmy Wong from the USA Chin Woo Athletic Association, and Sonny Ayson from Ching Wu in Winnipeg, Manitoba. With a strong, developing fundamental and understanding of martial arts, Joshua began to incorporate his techniques into his second passion: filmmaking. In 2012, Joshua founded the independent film production company "Wuji Films" with his long-time friend and training partner Bronson Cameron. Since then, Joshua has focused on becoming a stunt coordinator and action director, working on some of the best action films to come out of Winnipeg, including a collaborative project between him and director Kyle Wong.
