Born in Austria, Jakob moved to Berlin in 2012 to study film. The actor first caught the attention of his now world-wide fan base from his songwriting via his rap persona and alter ego, Candy Ken. His style as a rapper is a blend of flash, technicolor and gender-bending that vibed with Berlin's art and music scene. His style caught the eye of Diesel's creative director, Nicola Formichetti, Terry Richardson and Jeremy Scott. Starting in 2015 he was involved in a number of fashion shoots including a shoot in Milan for Nicolas Magazine based in Japan . His first two films were completed in 2015 and the film Welcome to Candyland won a best short award at the Alpinale Film Festival in Austria. In 2016 he landed his first feature, ZAPS INC, in a supporting role.
