Andrea Smith Peek is known for show running the web series See Through Daddy for Telus Storyhive (2019/2020). And her script Far Out was a top five finalist in Just For Laughs' Script to Screen Pitch Contest (2019). She worked as a producer's assistant on A&E's Ruby Landry Series (2020) and has held many crew positions (from script supervisor to assistant director to actor) on multiple independent features and shorts. She wrote Demon vs. Fairy (produced by VFS), wrote Get Siri-ous (produced by VFS and won best student film in the summer of 2015), wrote Friends Frenzy (produced by CBC Radio DNTO), wrote Infinity Closet (chosen to be produced by her peers at UCLA) and Beta Tested (self-produced, wrote, and directed). She co-wrote and acted in Noelle's package which won an honorable mention at Cinevic's Festivus Film Festival in 2017. An excerpt from her script Oh No The Humanity was read at the Austin Film Festival in 2017. Her spec script Another Period: Dazed and Short-Fused second rounded at the Austin Film Festival in 2017. She married director Trent Peek in 2010. She won the showcase showdown on the Price Is Right on December 10, 2018. She appeared on the Talking Dead in August of 2018. Andrea Smith Peek studied writing for film, television, new media at Vancouver Film School. She studied Film Production and Writing TV Comedy at UCLA. She studied improv and sketch at the Groundlings Comedy School in LA, UCB in LA, Second City in Toronto and LA. She studied writing at On The Page, Writing Pad, and Script Anatomy. She studied writing and production at Stage 32, and Roadmap Writers. She has performed stand up in Austin, LA, Victoria, Vancouver, and Toronto. She completed her bachelor of science degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Andrea Smith grew up in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada and most recently resides in Victoria, BC, Canada.
