Jim Catizone

Jim grew up in a small Pennsylvania town. He is one of six children born into a large Italian family. Jim's parents were Anthony and Constance Catizone. A fun fact about Jim, is that he grew up in Centralia, PA. A town that is famous for a mine fire that burned under the town for almost 50 years. Jim's roots are seeded deep in restaurant, retail and sales industries. Jim's family were always involved in the restaurant business and he continues to work in that industry today (10/30/19). Between 2003-2005 he attended college for Broadcast Communications and Journalism Communications. While there he obtained two Associates Degrees, one in both Majors. The local job scene for both of these degrees in the Scranton, PA area, is was not lucrative one. As of October 2019 , Jim continues to work in the service industry, due to the influx of good money which that business brings. Jim had an interest in movies/film. He quickly learned that, that said influence was steering him toward wanting to write. Jim's first screenplay was based upon the restaurant industry. A screenplay called 'The Italian Restaurant'. The focus was to try to depict what it was really like to work as a server in the industry. Jim lives in the Scranton, Pennsylvania area. He works full time for a Philadelphia based company called Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar.
