Matt Bellassai

Matt Bellassai is a comedian, writer, and social media star known for his irreverent takes on adulthood. These takes can be seen in his popular Facebook series To Be Honest and heard on the incredibly witty podcast Unhappy Hour. Matt rose to fame as the star of Buzzfeed's hit web series, Whine About It, a show dedicated to laughing off everyday frustrations. The series regularly attracted 3.5 million weekly viewers and gained Matt the 2016 People's Choice Award for Favorite Social Media Star.. In 2017, Bellassai released his first book entitled, Everything is Awful: And Other Observations, a collection of essays and curator of cunning comedic commentary on Twitter. This past year, Matt wrapped his sold-out, nationwide comedy tour, The Drunk and Alone Tour, which featured shows in 20 cities. He has worked as a correspondent for multiple red carpets, including the 2016 American Music Awards and the 2017 SAG Awards. You can find him touring comedy clubs and colleges across the country.
