Steven Dorantes

Steven Dorantes was born on September 28th, 1994, in Los Angeles, California, and is the only child. He is the son of Olivia Guerrero, a human resource specialist, and Refugio (Red) Dorantes, a operations support specialist for FedEX. He is of Mexican descent from his maternal and paternal grandparents. Although Steven started playing baseball at age 4, he always had a passion for the arts. His interest for the arts sparked when he played Lewis Carroll in the stage production Alice in Wonderland at the Lewis Family Playhouse theatre in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, all at the tender age of 15. From that moment forward he began to take classes in theatre arts at Los Osos High School also in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, all the meanwhile still actively involved at the Lewis Family Playhouse theatre. As his passion for the arts grew, he continued his education by taking Improv classes at the ImprovOlympic West in Los Angeles, CA. where the late Robin Williams and the great Tina Fey got their start. Followed by Commercial Audition training at Carolyne Barry Creative also in Los Angeles, CA. As of early 2016, Steven will further his education at the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown studio in Santa Monica, CA.
