Julian Dean (b. 1975) is a former road racing cyclist from New Zealand who competed professionally from 1999 to 2013. He won the 2007 and 2008 New Zealand National Road Race Championships and was considered the best lead out rider in the world. At the World Road Championships, he finished tenth in 2002 and ninth in 2005. He retired from cycling in 2013 and now works as an assistant sports director for Orica-Scott.
