Selene Caramazza was born in Palermo in 1993. While graduating in law at university, she studied acting at the Drama School "Action Theater". At the beginning of her artistic career, she played in several tv series such as "Il commissario Montalbano", "Il Cacciatore" and "Squadra antimafia". Her first time as main character was in "Cuori Puri" by Roberto De Paolis, presented at the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs of Cannes Film Festival 2017, that won her the award for Best Actress at the Festival de Cine Europeo de Sevilla 2017. Later on, she worked on the tv film "Prima che la notte" by Daniele Vicari. For the big screen, she played in Giulio Base's film "Bar Giuseppe", presented at the Rome Film Festival 2019, and in Davide Del Degan's first film "Paradise". In 2020 she was also in the tv series "Inchiostro contro piombo" directed by Piero Messina, Ciro D'Emilio and Stefano Lorenzi, and "Christian" by Stefano Lodovichi, which was presented at Cannes Series.
