Mike "in Tokyo" Rogers is a director, producer, writer and FM radio host who, in 2006, became the first foreigner in Japanese history to hold a senior position at a major Japanese broadcasting station when he was appointed the general manager at TV Tokyo's InterFM radio channel. He was the lead singer of the legendary Los Angeles punk band, "The Rotters" singing Punk Classics such as, "Sit on My Face, Stevie Nicks," and "Sink the Whales," between 1977 and 1979 under the pseudonym "Nigel Nitro." He has been a radio/TV host/producer/writer in Japan since 1983. He is also the writer, producer and co-director of the 2017 feature film, "Ghostroads - A Japanese Rock N Roll Ghost Story" which world-premiered at the Raindance Film Festival 2017, enjoyed a Japan nationwide Road Show theatrical release soon after, was released on DVD/Blu-Ray in Japan, as well as theatrical release in Canada. Mike is also the producer and co-writer of the documentary, "Matsuchiyo - Life of a Geisha" which was completed in 2018 and World Premiered at Raindance Film Festival in 2018. Mike is also a Jury member for Life at the Raindance Film Festival making him the first person from Japan to ever serve as a Jury member in Raindance Film Festival history. Mike hosts the "World Famous Mike Rogers Show" on in over 18 countries (including 2 FM stations in Japan) and 36 radio stations around the world. He has created and co-hosted many legendary programs in Japan including "Ninja Slayer From Animation's 'The TV Show," "Channel G," and "Good Morning Garage." Mike likes to say, "I make Rock n Roll stuff."
