Kalia Young is a 9 year old rising star from the Chicagoland area. Kalia is the second child of her dynamic parents Darnald and Keysha Young. The Youngs continue to provide encouragement and motivation to Kalia to achieve success in her academics, modeling, acting, gymnastics and community support. Kalia's talents and willingness to learn has proven to be some of her greatest strengths as she continues to turn her dreams into realities. Her talents have been authenticated by her modeling opportunities with family-based retailers Kohl's and American Girl Doll Company, performing on the stage of the community oriented Sandwich Opera House, tumbling on the athletic fields of Plano's school district with the Plano Reapers cheer squad and donating to the Hesed House, Illinois second largest homeless shelter. Kalia's undeniable beauty, work ethic and sincere passion for acting has landed her a co-starring role on NBC's newest hit series Chicago Med "Intervention" episode. Her willingness to succeed incites her commitment to studying Improv at Chicago's Second City, and taking direction from her team of coaches' from Chicago's The Green Room. Kalia is a performer in many arenas. Along with her artistic accomplishments, Kalia serves as a role model to her friends, family and to her community.
