Holly Holland

Holly Holland is an American actress. Holly was born in Baltimore, MD in 1981 and was the youngest of four siblings. Holly first developed a passion for acting at the age of eleven. Her first job was in 2001 portraying a battered wife in a play. Having surprised many people with her acting abilities and with no acting training at the time, as well as surprising herself with how natural and easy acting came to her as well as how enjoyable it was for her, it was clear she had a natural gift to act. And as she always says, acting is what she was born to do. Directly following that play she starred in a comedic play. She would then continue with theater acting as well as volunteering in theater work at three different churches. Holly was either a principle or supporting actor in most of her plays. As much as Holly enjoyed theater acting, she always had a heart for film. In late 2013 she set out to pursue a career as a full time actor in film. In 2014 she took a five month training class on film acting to get familiar with the different acting techniques that are required in film. After that she attended many different acting workshops and an online Masterclass by Kevin Spacey. During this time Holly landed her first film job on the series House of Cards portraying the press. She would go on to continue portraying in that role three more times for the rest of the season. She also landed a role portraying a nurse in the TV series Evil Twins on Investagation Discovery. The very first movie Holly worked on was faith based movie Love Different by SONset Friday Entertainment. Holly Holland was now pursuing film full time while just volunteering in some theater acting. Holly Holland has always made it known that her gift and talent to act is not and never was for her. It's for the audience that watches her.
