Gabriel Ruas Santos Rocha is a manager, writer, and entrepreneur born in the south of Brazil. Santos Rocha studied journalism in his hometown of Porto Alegre, where he started his career in the modeling and entertainment industry as an agent for the renowned French modeling agency, Marilyn. The agency quickly transferred him to Sao Paulo where he was shortly after recruited to join the team at Ford models. With a passion for the movie and music industry, Gabriel began writing weekly emails within the agency with his "cool and hot" recommendations. These emails soon went viral among friends and clients. It was then that Gabriel received a call from the fashion editor at Marie Claire telling him he should start a blog and pursue writing anything he felt was interesting and intriguing. The blog soon caught the attention of the editors at Vogue and L'Officiel, for which he contributed articles ranging from the earthquake disaster in Haiti to celebrity events like the Costume Institute's MET Ball in New York. Gabriel's career as a model agent eventually brought him to New York City, where he worked for Elite Model Management, before joining T Models in January of 2012. It was in New York that Gabriel's career as a writer took flight. Gabriel wrote a bi-weekly column for the New York based website LookBooks, in which he interviewed models from all over the world. His contributions with the site also extended to profiling artists, reviewing art exhibitions and interviewing iconic talents of the entertainment industry. In 2014 Gabriel completed his first feature screenplay. The young writer is working on a book, is a contributing-editor for the Los Angeles based magazine VVV, and also writes for the news portal The Huffington Post. Gabriel's website continues to be one of his most cherished idea outlets and houses all of his recent articles from all medias, including pieces for Harper's Bazaar Thailand, Vogue Brazil, and The Peninsula Magazine. In February of 2017, the young entrepreneur found an opportunity to change the direction of his career. In April of that same year ANTI management was founded promising a unique and dynamic new approach to talent management and branding, offering a nurturing and inclusive environment to all its clients. The new agency was welcomed by the fashion industry with open arms and within six months saw its client roster grow from 1 to 120, including the likes of Shirley Mallmann, Raquel Nave, Marvin Cortes, and Louise Donegan.
