Stanislav Lanovoy

Stanislav "Stan" Lanovoy, Russian movie director and photographer of American band Limp Bizkit on "Money Sucks" tour 2015, was born on 14th March 1980 in Lozovaya, Kharkiv region, Ukraine. When Stan was 9 years old, his family moved to Nakhodka at Russian Far East where he completed his school education. After finishing school Stan moved to Vladivostok (Russia) where he started his studies at medical university. At the age of 18 he started playing rhythm-guitar in one of local bands and successfully performed at big venues and city events. The passion to music lead to another hobby that lately transformed into a profession - shows and events promotion. In 1999 Stan leaved the medical studies and moved to the Economical University of Vladivostok where he studied Music & Show Business. Same year he started working as a DJ on "Europe +" Radio Station in Vladivostok. After graduating from University, Stan went to the military Service at his own will. While at the Army, Stanislav took part in multiple rescue operations and was rewarded by a distinctive mark. In 2003 he left the Army ranked Lance Sergeant. After the military Servise Stan stayed to live in Khabarovsk where he had been invited to "FM Khabarovsk" radio station where he hosted the "Voice of the Streets" radio show. In Khabarovsk Stan continued working as the show promoter and booked numerous of artists including Alla Pugtcheva, Nazareth, Uriah Heep, Aria, Kasta, DIO and many others for the "Prostor" festival sponsored by Baltika brewery. While living in Khabarovsk Stan has discovered his passion to video and movie making and created his first video production & PR company that specialized in video commercials, and TV programs. In 2007 Stan moved to Moscow following the job offer by one of top event agencies VIP Program, but after 1 year of working there Stan has decided to leave the company to create his own business. At this time he was managing Russian band Biopsychosis and created numerous show programs including "Horror fire Porn Performance" which idea is still being used by many other shows. In 2009 Stan was first introduced to movie making. He has been invited to do administrative duties to the project called "Vendetta" (RWS) and grew to the position of 1st Assistant Director. The next step was the move to the major TV production company that specialized in TV series production where Stan has been working as Assistant director and Production director. In 2012 Stan has been invited as a Assistant Director to the high rating TV series "Kitchen" ("Kukhnya) by «Key Stone» production company. Since 2012 Stan is running his own production company that specializes on TV series, music videos, commercials etc. In 2015 he has met the lead singer of Limp Bizkit Fred Durst and has become band's personal photographer and director for the "Money Sucks" tour. At the moment Stan and Fred are working on the documentary about the band and the singer that will be released in 2016.
