Jason Phelps

Jason Phelps was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL on December 25th, 1983. His mother is a health specialist and his father is retired Air Force, working towards his private practice as a therapist. Jason grew up moving around places such as Germany, England, and Greece, following his father's military service, before finally settling in Colorado. Eventually finding his passion in filmmaking, Jason attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, earning his BFA in Film Studies in 2015. During his time there he worked as a head projectionist and media wrangler for the International Film Series. It was here that Jason connected with many of his fellow filmmakers. His production company, Blue Dragon Films, began in early 2016 and produces feature films, podcasts, shorts, and a web series. Most of Jason's films tend to be comedic in nature, which poke fun at particular genres while also paying homage to their endearing styles.
