DeAna Fai, born Ashlee Deanna Faison is an American Singer, Songwriter, Actress, Vocal Producer and Model from Virginia. DeAna Fai stars in the movie "My Favorite Five" as a credited soundtrack singer. DeAna Fai has been brewing with talent since the age of 5. Like many great artists in the R&B tradition, DeAna Fai was first exposed to music through the church at which she learned that singing was her ultimate dream profession. She debuted on a theme song titled "Sing A Song For Love" for the Healthy Families Partnership Program that aired worldwide. DeAna Fai attended Bethel High School in Virginia. In 2003, DeAna Fai wrote a song titled "City of Hope" and performed it as a support mechanism for children with cancer for Office Depot that soon aired on Radio Disney. Forced to face what her mother called reality, DeAna Fai at age 17 went to Norfolk State University to pursue a Bachelors of Science in the Biology Pre-Professional field of study. Consequently, she met some interns in the recording studio at which she began to write and record more songs that would eventually hit local radio stations such as Hot 91.1 and 103 Jamz and the ears of high profile music industry professionals. DeAna Fai is an artist that knows no bounds. She is a singer. She is a songwriter. She is a business woman. She without managerial representation has secured a placement in a Hollywood Film and has worked on projects with and for Entertainment Execs from Bad Boy Entertainment, Interscope Records, Atlantic Records, Mosely Music Group, MTV, etc. She has also worked with artists and producers to include Heavy D, Cassie, Forever Heartbreak, B. Malik, and Mario Winans to name some. DeAna Fai says that her friends (Actor) Billy Williams, the late Heavy D, (Bad Boy Family) Hughes Felizor and Jamaine Farmer are part of the reason she continues to strive to be on top because of their inspiring nature.
