Best known as a volatile and sarcastic online blogger, music personality and infamous party host, Kyle "Kore" Parsons has made his creative mark in the underground music industry time and time again. Beginning with the explosion of Myspace in 2005 he first established popularity within the "scene" as a sassy music, fashion and nightlife columnist with his collection of controversial essays titled "Exploit The Scene." Kore has also been featured in countless print and online publications, including AMP Magazine and Hails & Horns, as a notable music journalist with a variety of features including interviews, reviews and more from some of the biggest pop/punk, post-hardcore, and metal artists to date. After many creative contributions to a variety of projects (including Hot Topic's late digital retailer and community called Shockhound, Myspace's Curator program as the official "Curator of Warped Tour," and several freelance endeavors,) Kore joined the Century Media Record's hard rock and heavy metal family in 2009 (recent notable acts including Suicide Silence, In This Moment,Winds Of Plague, iwrestledabearonce and more.) The combination of partying like a rock star coupled with his professional experience in the industry, lead to the creation of his theatrical brainchild and social movement called Hollywood Waste. This project was developed as a young and trendy experience for fans of Hot Topic, Warped Tour and Alternative Press who signed developing rock bands such as Vampires Everywhere!, New Years Day, and more. This theatrical social community and record label offered a unique combination of components including a lifestyle blogging arena for niche trades and clothing lines, the Hollywood Waste TV platform with exclusive reality based series, an all-encompassing web store, events across the country with many popular artists, editorial content and much more. After two colorful and loud years, Hollywood Waste disassembled and focused its efforts on its online store. The project can be best explained in Kore's public departure blog saying "with this project I wanted to make a statement that would turn some heads and make people say 'what the **** were they thinking? That's awesome!' I wanted to create a place where all of your favorite bands, brands and personalities could coexist in a community built for YOU. A place where you could find your new favorite band, meet awesome people, shop, party, and be entertained. I wanted to bring [underground] Hollywood to you in a way that had never been possible before through photos and videos, and invite all of you to be part of our lifestyle... Looking back at these past two years I honestly couldn't be more proud of what we have all accomplished together." Kore joined the Fearless Records family in late 2012 (recent notable acts including Pierce The Veil, Mayday Parade, Breathe Carolina, blessthefall, Motionless In White and more.) Only time will tell what new creative projects are in the works for 2013. One thing we do know is that Kyle Kore Parsons isn't done with us yet!
