Born In Los Angeles, Charles's family bounced around southern California from Compton to Huntington Beach. Along the way he excelled in academics and athletics throughout his education. At 17 he went to UC Berkeley to study Fine Art, and Art History, went to Italy for a year, and graduated from the Honor Studios in Art Practice, with a minor in Italian Studies. He then went on to School of Visual Arts in NYC, while there he interned with the City of New York where he was creative lead for visuals on a design competition for a new street light for NYC. While in NYC Charles linked up with the local BMX scene and became an influential and respected member of the community. Known for finding uncharacteristic obstacles to ride in innovative ways, Charles convened with other enthusiasts to elevate their riding to film worthy exploits. In 2016 Charles was on Brain Games where he learned how to ride a reverse steering bike in an experiment to explore the limits of Nuero-plasticity, and motor skill function. Charles was also a stunt cyclist for a Lenovo ThinkPad commercial. Charles continues to participate in video projects with his friends, within the alternative sports realm, most of which can be viewed online.
