Alex Izraev

Alex Izraev was born in Safed, Israel. As a child he moved frequently from place to place but initially settled in Karmiel, a city in Northern Israel. Alex's Mother is from Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkaria, the Caucasus. His father is from Moscow, Russia. In 2012 started his studies at the ORT Psagot Cinema College in Karmiel where he directed his first short film "Agurim (Cranes)". Alex graduated from ORT Psagot Cinema College in 2014 and served as a Director and a Director of Photography in the Cinema Unit of the Israeli Air Force for 3 years. Since then he's been working as a DOP and a Gaffer.
