Following a three-and-a-half year military service in Israel, Dayan David Oualid joins the École Supérieure d'Études Cinématographiques in Paris. There, he founds, along with a group of schoolmates, the Association Des Jeunes Cinéastes Indépendants, thanks to which he produces several short films and other media. He simultaneously co-directs two shorts of biblical inspiration with Luc Finalteri, as well as several music videos and advertisements. In 2019, he directs and stars in "Dibbuk" and creates the production company Trois Jours De Marche alongside Luc Finalteri, Guillaume Schmitt, Raphaël Pierre-Bloch and Emilie Potet. With a strong desire to fuse together fantasy and social films, Dayan writes around current themes with a certain nostalgia for the 90's, on a spiritual and esoteric backdrop.
