Lenita Harris

Lenita was born and raised in Natchez, MS. She grew up in a very musical and artistic family and began acting at age 5 in a kindergarten play. She grew up with dreams of being a singer, but acted in various projects from time to time. In 2010, she auditioned for American Idol and made it to Hollywood. After pursuing a career as a singer, she determined that being a recording artist wasn't the right fit for her. Her moment of self realization came in when she booked her first film job on Get On Up. There she realized that acting was the love of her heart.
