Jonathan Chuby

A Canadian Independent filmmaker specializing in horror and comedy narrative content. He has been cast in TV shows, like "The Fringe'' and Movies such as the "Hessan affair" He also is part of local theatrical productions such as "Evil Dead - The Musical and''Hurry Hard". Jon writes and directs his own content, founding his production company Picaroon Pictures in 2015. His most well-known projects are "Behind the Reds'' which was shown at the Directors Guild of America in 2015. His TV show "Geoff and the Ninja," which placed in the top 15 of ComedyCoup's nationwide competition in 2014 and in 2017, then won Telus Storyhive's biggest ever grant. Jon was also selected to direct Canadian writer Josh Saltzman's short horror story "The Window" as part of a horror anthology based on his book "Strange Yarns." He also completed his own horror anthology feature titled "BloodStream" in 2021. He prides himself on an inclusive and productive film environment, always bringing his imaginative ideas from start to finish.
