Tré Melvin is an American actor, singer, songwriter, published playwright, philanthropist, and YouTube personality. Melvin is widely known for his YouTube show, formerly named "This Is A Commentary", in which he varies between sketch comedy, parody, and social commentary. His channel currently boasts over 3.2 million+ subscribers and 300 million video views worldwide. Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Melvin graduated from Stivers School for the Arts; where he studied theatre between grades 7 through 12. Melvin studied Business Marketing at the University of Cincinnati, and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA. He began acting professionally at the age of twelve; performing in a variety of stage plays, musicals, television commercials, short films, and radio spots.
