Born and raised in North West London, Paul who holds a degree in Film and Television from Ravensbourne College and a teaching diploma, works as a Creative Writing and Film Lecturer as well as a freelance Scriptwriter and independant Filmmaker. Paul began filmmaking at Westminster College where he studied A-level Media. During this time he became a member of the children's charity YCTV (Youth Culture Television), where he gained experience working alongside ITV, Channel 4 and the BBC. He wrote many programmes that were broadcast on the YCTV Channel which included a short educational film used in schools around the UK for the Metropolitan Police, a documentary on race relations in Bradford for the BBC, a satirical comedy short screened at the Serpentine Gallery, a film review show and won a Channel 4 award for Best Young Writer. Though his shinning moment was interviewing his hero, silver screen superstar, Jon Voight. Paul began working with Trailblazerfilms in 2008 on the feature Gangster Kittens as a Script Doctor. Gary Kurtz, legendary producer of Star Wars and Mentor on Gangster Kittens, was very impressed with Paul's revamping of the script. Paul has written dialogue for many high profile celebrities including Damme Vivian Westwood for the RBKC and Trailblazer produced short film Game On @ the V&A Museum. Paul worked on the Trailblazer short film Grave Mistake as Writer and Assistant Director. The film won the 2008 Apollo Award for Best Youth Arts Project in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Since then Paul has worked as a Freelance Writer and Script Consultant on various projects. Paul also Co-Directed, the One for the Boys, Abbey Road Studios event where he worked alongside Hollywood legend Samuel L Jackson. Paul was a Co-Writer on the feature film Brash Young Turks and Writer of the new Trailblazer produced film In2ruders which stars Caprice Bourett, Tony Hadley and features original music from Nick Rhodes.
