Stephen Zambito

Stephen Zambito is an audio producer, actor, model, singer, voice-over artist, radio/podcast host and brand influencer more widely known internationally under his stage name, Zambo. He had a taste of the industry at an early age as a child actor on the Conan O' Brien Show and a model for Toys 'R Us catalogs. Since then, Zambito has carved himself a place within a niche market in a vast industry wherein he's excelled into the hearts of millions of fans around the globe. He's best known for his work as a host of The Grindhouse Radio, a pop culture talk-based podcast and series that is syndicated on over twenty-five digital & terrestrial radio networks (including iHeartRadio, iTunes, Spotify & Google Play Radio) with a listenership of between 3.5 - 4 million weekly worldwide. The Grindhouse Radio, also known as GHR - has achieved ranking in the Top 20 Best Comedic Podcasts (as high as #6) worldwide on iTunes, as well as #83 on their overall charts. In addition to GHR, Steve co-hosts a weekly companion podcast series, Within Brim's Skin with Brimstone that can also be found on all major streaming networks. He appears regularly as an expert speaker at libraries, schools and universities teaching podcast hopefuls, 'how to podcast' from nuts to bolts in Podcast 101, 201 & 301 courses along with his GHR partners. On social media, Zambo and GHR's branded GIFs are searchable and have been used over 600 million times via their official Giphy account. Filming has begun on a televised sitcom spin-off of GHR entitled, Behind the Grind that will be available on Amazon Fire TV, Roku TV and Apple TV where Zambo holds a principal on-screen role as well as writing credits. Notably, The show has achieved the honor of being voted, 'Best Radio Station on Long Island 2017, 2018 & 2019,' in the annual Best of LI Awards, named a 2018 SCORE American Small Business Champion and National Grand Champion; and was a topic of discussion at the European Planetary Science Congress 2018 - officially making them a citable source for scientific and collegiate papers. In 2018 - GHR released and distributed their first Holiday single, 'Baking Cookies' that was written by the main cast. Apart from the continued success of GHR, Zambo has seamlessly intertwined himself in the world of screenwriting, acting, voice acting, and producing. Video game voice-over credits include, Sorim Story: Race World (multiple characters), Brimstone and The Borderhounds: Forza Infernis (multiple voices), Wasteland Wars (Gorgon & Gladis), GHR: The Great Airspace Chase; and is voicing the character Davud in the game, Liquid Metal. His VO production, recording and editing can be found in a variety of Q&E Productions' animated shorts and in The Weeklings animated series. Zambo's personal animated VO debut will be as Radford the Raccoon in the upcoming network television, children's animated series and interactive educational website, Wobworld. Furthermore, aside from his voice work for GHR's international sponsors including Red Roof and Mane 'N Tail among others - he can be heard on the Kikkoman Corporation's national radio ads that he not only voiced; but collaborated in the conception and production thereof. His professionalism is conveniently matched with quick sarcastic wit and wise-cracking personality, which has led to his involvement in convention panels, celebrity hosting and moderating at major pop culture events including; but not limited to San Diego Comic Con, The Buffalo Niagara Film Festival, The Great Philadelphia Comic Con, Allentown Comic Con, EMCon and I-Con. He's been an esteemed guest of honor for the LILTA Men's Conference, and has expanded into the foodie world being asked to celebrity judge for Rib King NYC, Brisket King NYC, King of the Wing and Pig Island NYC.
