Allyn was born and raised in the small town of Gilbert, Arizona. She developed a love for film and acting at a very early age while watching the films of Judy Garland and Julie Andrews and the I Love Lucy show. She started doing theatre in middle school and continued throughout high school and college. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan. She started acting full time in 2018.
