Indranil Kashyap

Indranil Kashyap (born 19 July 1986), an alumnus of Film and Television Institute of India, is an Indian Screenwriter and Director. He started his storytelling journey with theatre in Delhi before moving on to films. Thematically his films explore the complex crossroads of language, culture, gender, violence and sexuality. Kashyap has worked in multiple languages including Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Marathi and English. He was the Chief Assistant Director for the multi lingual Netflix film Firebrand. His short-feature Kula bagged the Special Jury Award at the SiGNS film festival in 2016.
