Simrat Sandhu grew up in Patiala, a small city in Punjab, India. Growing up, Simrat was always fascinated with the art of storytelling through the medium of photos and films. As a teenager, he often rallied up his friends and cousins and directed, acted and produced short films. He studied film making at the accredited New York Film Academy. Since the academy, Simrat has made quite a few short films. He continues to work on his scripts and enhancing his art every chance he gets by freelancing within the film industry in various capacities.
