Dawn Hopson

Melissia-Dawn Hopson started acting at the age of 5-years-old. Her theatrical credits include Rizzo in "Grease", Ruth in "The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-In-The-Moon Marigolds, Gloria Rasputin in "Bye Bye Birdie" and Princess Aracoma in West Virginia's longest running outdoor drama "The Aracoma Story". Her film credits include "Julie" in Murder on the Dance Floor, "Gilly" in The Haunting of Four Points, and "Elizabeth" in Our War. In college, Dawn majored in Theatre then ventured off to study Film & Video Production. Special skills include fire dancing, belly dancing, portrait sketching and sculpting. Aside from acting, Dawn's credits include Directing, Choreography, Stage Managing, Lighting/Sound, Costume/Wardrobe, and Makeup/Special Effects. Dawn Hopson owns and operates Nevaticca Studios, teaching Acting and Improv classes in person and online, with a special focus given to children and teens in order to help them grow into well-rounded and cultured individuals through the medium of the performing arts.
