Silas Miami

Silas Miami is a filmmaker, musician, and photographer. Silas has written several feature films that include the award-winning Supamodo (2018) [Berlinale, TIFF] and Lusala (2019). He believes that the art of storytelling was engraved in his spirit long before he existed. It has been passed down from generation to generation and now he can begin to effect change (or create an environment suitable for its rise at the very least) by distilling, packaging and showcasing stories that celebrate self-evaluation, celebration, and ownership as a form of resistance.
