Warren Dermody is a former member of Manchester band "Northside", the last band to be signed by Tony Wilson's Factory Records. He is a writer best known for Vultures (2016) his first solo single. He is now known under the name 'Dermo' and lives in Manchester, England. Northside was formed by Warren Dermody (vocals/lyrics) and Cliff Ogier (bass). Later joined by Michael Upton (guitar) and Paul Walsh (drums). Upton was later replaced by Timmy Walsh prior to the release of their first single "Shall We Take A Trip".
