Chad McMillan

Chad David McMillan, of French and Scottish descent, was born in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, on April 1st, 1980. While his family has been based in the Vancouver area for several generations, he lived in Prince George for his high school years graduating as Valedictorian before moving on to complete his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University. A charismatic and confident dealmaker through and through, Chad has spent years embracing the family mantle of early-stage finance and creative entrepreneurship. He has run early-stage and startup ventures, both private and public, in nearly every executive capacity such as Vice President, President, Director, and CEO, in mining, technology, and entertainment ventures to name a few. For over 15 years he has assisted companies along their respective missions, helping raise millions of dollars, and increasing shareholder value through strategic negotiations, mergers, and acquisitions as appropriate. His journey though, has been anything but conventional. He has lived in exotic locations, performed and led sports and entertainment teams in an all-inclusive resort, survived a hostage-taking, a major hurricane, worked with a shaman, pilgrimaged solo deep into Central America, and more. Meanwhile, in his film work to date, Chad's highlights have included helping build public production company Imagination Park Entertainment Inc. (now ImagineAR) as a Senior Strategy Advisor, as well as working with Mr. Casey Affleck as his stand-in and photo double in he and Black Bear Pictures' Light of My Life feature film project - an exceptional opportunity to study the craft first hand from this exceptionally talented team of Academy Award winners. As evidenced throughout his journey, Chad has a thirst for new challenges and experiences, always rising to the demands of the call. These days, Chad infuses these inspirations as an actor and independent producer, collaborating with other aspiring artists in his passions of film, music, and startup ventures via his private companies; Wokaura Art & Innovations Inc., McMillan Strategies, and Kaypieye Media Inc.
