Gina Faarup Cochez was born and raised in Panama. She is a Producer and Actress known for "Todos Cambiamos" ("Everybody Changes") (2019). She attended University of Pennsylvania and graduated from the Wharton School of Business in Finance and Management. She worked in the banking industry in New York and Panama. She re-defined her career in 2011 where she became a Theatre Producer and Actress in Panama, where she produced the Musicals Chicago, Evita, Cats, Mamma Mia, Sound of Music, Shrek, Jesus Christ Superstar. As an actress she performed the roles of Roxie Hart (Chicago), Evita (Evita), and Maria (The Sound of Music). In 2019 the made her film debut in the Panamanian Film "Todos Cambiamos" ("Everybody Changes") where she plays Mariana, the psychiatrist. She is also a producer of the Film which is Panama's Official Selection for the Academy Awards 2020 in the International Feature Film category. Other acting roles include Mariana in "En el Corredor de la Muerte" a TV Mini-Series of Bambú Producciones. She is the CEO of GC Films, a film production company based in Panama. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
