Victoria Campbell worked as a crime/court reporter for NBC affiliate KRNV-TV in Reno, Nevada from 1987 to 2012, covering thousands of stories and scores of court cases. She broke numerous exclusive crime stories during her time as a reporter, covering the murder of college student Brianna Denison, the gruesome crimes of serial killer David Middleton, and the murder of Nevada State Controller Kathy Augustine, among many others. Victoria won the regional Edward R. Murrow Award for her coverage of the Waterfall Fire in Carson City, Nevada, when she and her photographer were trapped behind the fire lines. Their work appeared on "Inside Edition" and national news coverage. She has appeared on "Dateline NBC," "American Monster," "Forensic Files," and numerous other national crime programs. She is a graduate of California State University, Fresno and Salve Regina University with undergraduate degrees in Theatre Arts and Broadcast Journalism, and a master's degree in International Relations/Justice and Homeland Security. She left the news business in 2012 and is now the Public Information Officer for the Washoe County School District in Reno, Nevada.
