Zsolt Bernáth

Director and writer Zsolt Bernath has been making films since he was 11. He experimented with thrillers, horrors, comedies and horror-comedies, as well as children films and spiritual dramas. He founded a creative workshop named Cruel World Team in 1994 to develop and shoot independent movies. He was also the producer of his early movies. Between 1994 and 2014 he produced and directed 7 feature films, several shorts and music videos, commercials and other videos. His most successful feature film In the name of Sherlock Holmes won the 'Best Film for Youngsters' Award on Stockholm International Film Festival in 2013 and 'The Best Youth Film' award on Kryla (The Wings) International Film Festival for Children and Youth in Kyev, Ukraine in 2014. Her short The passion won 'Award for Editing' and 'Award for Use of Sound' on The Malta Cine Circle Festival in 2021.
