Darlene Bernaola

Darlene was born in L.A. and moved to Peru (her mother's home country) when she was two years old and her parents divorced. She moved to Miami when she was sixteen with her sister Carol. The first night there they slept in the bathroom of the airport. They got jobs at McDonalds, and later worked as maids and as nannys to support themselves.
