As a young child Bobbie spent countless hours in Shriners Hospital watching movies to pass the time. She dreamed of being a part of the magical world that is Hollywood. A native of Utah, Bobbie set out at the age of 19 to pursue her childhood dream. That dream became a reality in 1991 when she worked for free as a Production Assistant on her first film. From there her talents took her to blockbusters like "Nothing to Lose", "Batman and Robin", "Titanic" and Spielberg's "Minority Report" and "Catch Me If You Can". In 2000 she began her journey as a 2nd Assistant Director working in both TV and Film on "Alias", "Lost" and "Empire Falls". As her career continued to grow, she realized that being a 1st Assistant Director was her true passion. In 2005 "Everybody Wants to Be Italian" was her debut as 1st Assistant Director. It was then that she realized each production is a true team effort and coined the phrase "touchdown" when completing a scene. She has the amazing ability to create a feeling of togetherness with each team she leads. Bobbie has continued her work as a 1st AD in both TV movies and film. Her latest accomplishments as 1st AD are indie films, "Beneath", "Rushlights", "Skyler", and "Angels In Stardust". She recently added Producer to her many titles in this industry. At the 2011 Sundance Film Festival she was recognized as Associate Producer on "Little Birds". In 2013 she worked as Co- Producer and 1st AD on "Sand Castles"an indie drama that has dominated the 2014 film festival circuit in the US and Europe. She has been nominated for two Directors Guild of America Awards for "Empire Falls" on HBO and "Lost" on ABC. Lately Bobbie can be found behind the lens taking photos that tell a story and capture life at its most vital moments.
