Philip is an executive producer of entertainment creations with 25+ years of experience guiding emerging/established brands in developing engaging digital, social and live experiences that uniquely entertain the masses. In corporate, consulting and advisory roles, Philip has led teams in pioneering the industry, conceiving and producing some of the world's most iconic music festivals, concerts and live events, including Stagecoach, Electric Forest, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, and Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC). A soup-to-nuts strategist, he rapidly turns vision into creative equations that culminate in immersive experiences and profitable events. His expertise: entertainment brand strategy, experiential marketing, art curation, electronic dance music, and multi-genre event creation, production & promotion. Philip consults through high-profile business management firms for international clients and industry leaders-from startups to Fortune 500 companies-on brand marketing, live event entertainment and experience-driven festival creation. His recent projects involve helping companies develop event processes or logistics for dealing with a COVID-19 world and beyond. Additionally, Philip advises for Insomniac Events and has, since its inception, worked alongside its owner, Pasquale Rotella on business development and special projects. He negotiated lucrative operational deals, co-founded EDC, the Electric Forest Festival and EDMbiz Conference, and scaled Insomniac's branded events. Recognized as a pioneer in large-scale installation art at music festivals, Philip was sought after to teach a class at the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) with his Large-Scale Installation art as the subject of study. He has been a moderator and panel host at top universities and industry conferences, including UCLA, USC, SXSW, Billboard, Pollstar and Coachella, on the topics of Event Design & Creation, Music Programming, and Large-Scale Art Installation. Philip holds a B.S. degree in Physics from Brandeis University. Always a seeker of 'how things work,' he keeps his finger on the pulse of the latest trends, topics and technologies. Whilst walking art galleries, don't be surprised to see him walking arm and arm with his well-behaved Min Pin, Vinny Doggerino, whom in some circles is more notable than Philip himself.
